ऐसे में महंगाई की मार झेल रहे  आम लोगों के को एक और बहुत बड़ा झटका लगने वाला है। मोदी कैब‍िनेट की तरफ से 28 स‍ितंबर को इसे 31 द‍िसंबर तक के ल‍िए बढ़ाने का फैसला लिया गया था।

5 क‍िलो प्रत‍ि व्‍यक्‍त‍ि के ह‍िसाब से फ्री अनाज

इस योजना के तहत 80 करोड़ लोगों को 5 क‍िलो प्रत‍ि व्‍यक्‍त‍ि के ह‍िसाब से फ्री अनाज द‍िया जाता था । योजना की समयावध‍ि समाप्त होने के बाद फ्री राशन की सुव‍िधा बंद कर दी जाएगी। केंद्र सरकार की इस योजना को आगे बढ़ाये जाने की उम्‍मीद बहुत कम ही लग रही है।  क्‍योंक‍ि प‍िछले द‍िनों नीति आयोग के सदस्य रमेश चंद ने प्रधानमंत्री गरीब कल्याण अन्न योजना को समाप्त करने की बात कही थी। उन्‍होंने कहा था क‍ि सरकार को मुफ्त राशन योजना के लिए आवंटित अनाज को खुले बाजार में बेचना चाह‍िए। उन्‍होंने मीड‍िया से कहा था क‍ि आर्थिक गतिविधियां सामान्य होने पर प्रधानमंत्री गरीब कल्याण अन्न योजना जैसी योजना को जारी रखने का कोई औचित्य नहीं है।

Because in the past, NITI Aayog member Ramesh Chand had talked about ending the Pradhan Mantri Garib Kalyan Anna Yojana. He had said that the government should sell the food grains allocated for the free ration scheme in the open market. He had told the media that there is no justification for continuing a scheme like the Pradhan Mantri Garib Kalyan Anna Yojana when economic activities are normal.
